So, we’re heading for our last week in the US; culminating city is Los Angeles. Ofcourse, Disneyland is on the list of "things to do". We had a quick peek at Disney Downtow, which basically exists of retail and Disney stuff. And some eat and drink places.

The site ofcourse, is dressed in holiday style (yes, I’m kind of humming that tune now), and makes me even more happy and more exited like a lil’ kid on xmas morning… Tomorrow (I say tomorrow since it’s 6th December 2009, 8PM) we’re heading for Disneyland – a big YAY! Ever since I learned about Disneyland, I wanted to go there at least once in this lifetime. And tomorrow…

San Fransisco is good to me. The people are nice, the hotels is absolute value for money (hey, we are on Powell Street!!), the cable car was an experience on its own (details will follow later), and the food… yeah, well… If I say plentifull, you will catch my drift, i am sure. This is at Lori,s Diner, also on Powell street, and opposite of the hotel.

Amidst of all shopped photos, itś nice to post a totally unedited version. Not even for taggig purposes – simply because this machine I’m working on does not have any advanced photo editing programs. But I’m fine with it.

Went to Paris for a short break. Just needed a vacation-ish break.

So, it was Perry who came up with this idea, to copy the Moxietronthing, and use it as a template for this week’s 52.

At first, I had another idea on mind (to do it at the N8), but since lighting conditions were poor, I skipped that venue on the whole. I then told Perry that it would be fun to do a double date on the 52; meaning we both would set up our cameras, using tripods, and get one shot. Each one had to post his own shot.

We went to the last day of the Elephant Parade, where we tried spotting Reflections, a mirror-tiled-mosaic covered elephant. Too bad it was severely damaged; we found it in a corner, wrapped in plastic for better days to come. Bugger.

Walking outside, Perry asked me what I’d consider to be a perfect place to get the 52 done. Well, here. With building and tree as a backdrop. Blue sky. Autumnal Sun. Nice. We had fun setting the cameras up, and while shooting, people passing by asked us what this was all about. We informed them about our 52 project.

…where Cocktail is on the left, and Beer is on the right (obv). Shot using my Nokia; I consider it a pretty good shot, considering the poor light conditions. But damn, that LED flash is very… in-your-face, so to say.

Oh, and Cocktail’s real name … Let’s call her Mony.

I went to Polderlicht last Friday evening. Polderlicht is a collective of artists performing and exhibiting with no special theme nor as part of a sponorship.

Videos, sound, light, it was all there and all was available for free.

At the CBK, which had late opening hours especially for this event, there was a very special installation. A photocamera would shoot every, like, 20 seconds, and people voluntarily posed in front of the lense.

All Photos were immediately shown, and as you can see: it would match all photos having a similar color swatch.

It makes a nice 52.

Went to see Granny this weekend. Had fun, food, a good laugh or two.

She’s getting older; I could tell from the moments she just forgot what she was about to say, but good thing is that she knows it herself. I keep on mocking her, but she only tells me to wait till I’m older myself. Forgetting things appears to be a part of the whole process of getting older. Oh well, by the time it happens to me, I probably won’t even remember her words myself.

She also asked me to drive her to the cemetery to clean up her late-husband’s last resort. It had dirt all over, but after giving it a good brush, it all looked mighty fine.

Just before we headed back to my car, I decided to get a 52 together with Granny. Here she is.

Weather was great untill late, but not good enough to go hunting for photos. Will have loads of opportunities later on this year.

With all mobile uploads and photos on the net, I thought it’d be nice to shoot this weeks’ 52 and turn it into a fake-mobile phone pic. And with all the chromatic abberations and overexposure, I think I quite succeeded. I forgot to add noise, but the overall effect is clear.
