Taking one step at a time. Yesterday, it was time to unpack the 5 Benno CD racks, assemble them, and get them organised on the designated spot. It was 30°C outside, and humid. Very humid. Breathing itself made me sweat, let alone doing stuff, sweatty, in-home activities. Assembling Benno. Five of them, mind you.
Started at about 10:30ish in the morning and finished it all off around 17:00. That is unpacking the pack, assembling, getting the Benno in place, fill it up with CDs, repeat from “unpacking pack” till # of items = 0 (zero).
If we would mix our CDs together and put them in alphabetical order, we might need 4 Bennos only. But we decided to keep them separated, hence the 5 Bennos. Insane? Maybe. But this is one of the things that are not supposed to be mixed up. Like I still have some records and a few 12″ Maxi singles. Don’t want them to mix up with other records what so evah.
In short: I was happy the way this all turned out, next step is 2 new Billys.
Yes, just two.

So how did you get the 12″ singles to fit into a Benno? And please don’t tell Ron or he’ll offer to take them off your hands.
It was quite easy, honestly.
- set up Benno
- leave open space on the right side
- put the 12″ singles in up right position, leaning against side of Benno
- place loudspeaker in front of 12″ singles, preferrably with plant atop the speaker
- done
And he can have ‘em, as soon as I have a digital version of each and every track.
hi Stewart, I love the Bennos though I don’t own any myself. But they are certainly on my shopping list as I think they are very nice for organizing stuff like DVD’s or CD’s.
On a side note I can see two other things in the photo: you love brands and you’re a sporty guy
Check the website, the Benno is not that expensive. And yes, I love my brands, and no, I’m not that kind of a sporty guy…
Benno rules
I could build a house with the Benno’s we own. Looks like you could be our neighbor, haha.
Apparently that’s why we get along. Benno’s are like the glue for the masses
