52 23 Not your average sunday morning

I got up really early to get my granny to Schiphol. One of my uncles ’s been invited by the AMS university and the Muenchen uni as well. It was her last time (she says) that she will have the opportunity to see him. So I picked her up at 0630. Yawn.

Arriving at the airport I realised that I couldn’t possibly kick granny out on the curb, let her wait till I had my car parked and such, so she went to the parkin garage with me. Now you have to realise that she doesn’t walk that fast anymore, she’s pushing 87. When we nearly reached the Arrivals, my brother called me up, saying that my uncle’s just left for Amsterdam to check in at his hotel. Dragged granny back to the car to drive all the way back to AMS. Then my brother called again; apparently it’s a group reservation (which always have different agreements and conditions). His check in was around 15:00. I could have known this.

I decided to drive back home, get breakfast and to see what else could go wrong. My mom and my brother joined us not that much later. It’s 12:55 as I write, and I still am clueless as to what’s going on. I don’t mind, I don’t bother, I’m just tired. And it shows on photo above.

I do find comfort in knowing that there’s worse stuff going on in this world.

Yawn.
