Gerard
Gerard and I have known eachother for about 15 years now, and we became good friends over the years. We’ve gone through a lot of things, and I’ve seen him grow as a person, and very much as a friend. At a certain point our lives kind of separated; he went his way, and I went my way. We both kept in touch on a yearly base. Usually around Christmas or around New Year. I even visited him in Prague when he studied over there, and we had such a good time! We also had (and still have) a vow: No matter what happens, even if we don’t see/speak to eachother that often, we’re friends and we will not hold anything against the other. Every time we met, we took it up where we left the last time.
And now, as little boys grow up, he finally does the good thing: he is moving to Amsterdam. As sad as I am to see friends moving out from Amsterdam, I am very happy to see him and his friend moving to Amsterdam.
He is one of my very best and closest of friends and I really would like to thank him for being a friend.
